
Join us on Thursday 24th April in Bristol as we break down barriers to the creative industry and give traditional ‘mentoring’ a fun twist with strategic brand and packaging design agency, Outlaw.
Their wonderful team have volunteered their evening to speak with emerging creatives to answer your burning questions, provide some snappy portfolio feedback or just have a general chit-chat.

So what’s the twist?
Ever been speed dating? No? Neither have we…but the format still works! All mentees at this event will get the chance to speak to three different members of the Outlaw team, rotating every 10 minutes, with small breaks in between to regroup.
You can be emerging at any age, so there’s no age limit on this event. If you have less than two years of industry experience, you can get involved!
Spaces are limited, so don’t hang about. Applications will close on Thursday 3rd April 2025 at 11pm.

Aemelia Turton
Junior Designer

Before moving to Bristol, Aemelia interned in London and worked at White Bear. Her favourite past project is LUVLI – a multi-generational and culturally diverse baking kit. Her favourite part of her role is working on concept stages, where you can showcase creativity and innovative thinking, and be ambitious.
Emma Proven
Senior Designer

Emma joined Outlaw as a Junior Designer after graduating from university. Her favourite brand work has been leading the Silver Spoon redesign, and her favourite project is Cornish Orchards fruit cider where she flexed her illustration talents. Emma loves seeing sketches become reality on shelf, and of course her Outlaw team!
Josh Matthews
Marketing Manager

Josh has worked across research, marketing and design agency roles, including Taxi Studio and agency roles across Australia. Highlights include the GCCC brand campaign and Arnolfini Gallery relaunch. Josh enjoys meeting new people, learning about their business challenges, then working with a variety people from across the agency.
Phoebe Hart
Junior Designer

Phoebe is a D&AD New Blood Pencil winner and joined Outlaw after university, having also completed internships here. So far she’s loved working on a Christmas project for a Czech beer and flexing her animation skills for TRIBE. Her favourite part of the role is collaborating with the team, and learning from their unique and individual skills!

Tom has a background in marketing and specialises in personal care work. Passionate about using design to reshape healthcare conversations, he takes an empathetic, insight-driven approach to delivering products that enhance wellbeing. His previous role was at Seeker Digital, working with global SaaS brands like Shopify and Remote.
Josh de Sancha

Josh studied Marketing at university and worked in comms agencies before joining Sunhouse Creative, then Outlaw. His favourite past project is the redesign of the iconic Twister ice cream brand. Josh enjoys the variety of the day-to-day in his CS role and working in a truly creative environment with lots of highly talented people!
Oscar Mason

Oscar’s experience includes ad agency BBH and research at The Mix. He believes strategy is an excuse to become more interesting, collecting odd nuggets, random facts and unexpected references. His favourite project has been working on Prostate Cancer x Paddy Power, a campaign which raised £1million and was praised by the PM!
Sarah Sage

Sarah’s experience includes Futurebrand, Bloom, Bulletproof, Dragon Rouge and JKR, to name a few! She enjoys problem solving and finding new opportunities to change things for the better, and her favourite work has been evolving the positioning, architecture and visual identity of Avon, to bring the pioneering beauty brand into the modern day.
Alex ‘Rex’ Rexworthy

Outlaw’s resident ‘fizzy brain’ with 14 years of experience sparking unexpected creativity for some of the world’s most beloved brands. Rex’s greatest hits include Pot Noodle, Actimel and Silver Spoon. These days he's leading the design team, pushing them to challenge the brief and go after the ‘Outlaw’ route.
Hannah Craig

Before Outlaw, Hannah was a designer at brand and packaging agency Episode Two. Her favourite work is the Bickiepegs redesign, where she loved how a single-minded idea helped everything to fall into place. Hannah loves to simplify and create order through design, so the result not only looks great but works and has a purpose!
Leah Davis

Leah’s previous experience includes 5 years at Osborne Pike and freelance work at Sunhouse, Bloom, Pearlfisher and more. She has always specialised in branding and packaging and led the TRIBE redesign at Outlaw, which was a career highlight. Leah loves the motivation of solving a design-related challenge, as well as mentoring juniors.
Ruby Goom
Client Manager

Ruby’s previous experience was in PR and marketing for design and branding studios, before deciding to explore client services roles in design herself and joining Outlaw. Her favourite project has been Crusha, a brand packed with personality and nostalgia. Ruby enjoys seeing projects come to life, from the initial briefing through to landing on shelf.
