LJB Studio announces rebrand, changing name to Conscious Made
Published 4th October 2021
LJB Studio, an independent brand and design studio based in Manchester, has announced that it has undergone an extensive rebrand, to reflect both its current position, as well as its renewed vision for the future.
At the heart of this rebranding is a change of the company name to Conscious Made – derived from the compression of the phrase: ‘Where conscious thoughts, feelings and sensory experiences are made’ – a conceptual definition of its science-informed wellbeing design process, that combines: insightful thinking (I), human-centred emotional design (II) and multisensory brand experiences (III).
Along with the name change, Conscious Made has unveiled a newly redesigned logo, tagline and a new website outlining the company’s focus on enriching wellbeing, design for sustainability and the expanding of its core services.
The future of Conscious Made lies in its promise to deliver meaningful, immersive design and brand consultancy services that foster a sense of belonging and improve people’s wellbeing. Predominantly working with clients in health and wellness, arts and culture, sport, travel and tourism sectors.
Commenting on Conscious Made’s rebrand, founder and Creative Director, Laura Jane Boast said; “Back in 2014, I launched LJB Studio but after five years of growth, I encountered the difficulty of my brand no longer aligning with what my business had become. There was a significant gap between brand vision and brand position, no longer attracting the ideal client and failing to represent core values, experience and caliber of work. More so, the acronym name only added to the brand confusion — all of which limited potential reach.”
“In order to realign my brand it was essential to begin with a solid foundation in the form of a brand audit. This enabled me to build an effective strategy and gain brand clarity – resulting in the new name, a distinct new visual identity and repositioning of services. Alignment and a sense of belonging was felt almost instantaneously. That’s why today I’m on a mission to help like-minded people to transform their business and take them from confusion to clarity and achieve brand differentiation by redefining and reimagining their brand.”
Boast continues to say; “I’m very excited about the introduction of the new company name; Conscious Made, because it brings to the forefront the importance of a heightened conscious awareness of, and responsibility towards people when it comes to design. Furthermore, it helps to strengthen the three dimensions of our wellbeing design process – designed to feed the mind, warm the heart and please the senses. I also feel it’s important to let people know what Conscious Made stands for and the new tagline ‘Experience Enriched Wellbeing™’ signifies the ethos and new brand positioning.”
