‘Happy To Help’ the Class of 2021
Falmouth alumna Claudia Aggett and Maisie Benson invite the creative industry to ‘fly the flag’ in support of the Class of 2021, as Coronavirus disruption continues to interrupt the lives of students worldwide.
Graphic designers Claudia and Maisie, brewed up the Happy To Help initiative in 24-hours, in response to the despair shared by current third-year students, left deflated following announcements of England’s 3rd national lockdown.
In posts made to social media on January 6th 2020, the pair encouraged anyone from the community to share the colourful visuals, if they were willing to offer advice, portfolio reviews or just an honest chat!
Speaking on Instagram, Senior Designer at B&B Studio Maisie Benson said: “I'm a huge believer that we need to support the future of our industry and I want current students to know that we as an industry know how hard this will have been for them and appreciate the impact it might have.”
Former interview guest and now Junior Designer at Fiasco, Claudia Aggett reiterates her passion for the cause, as she writes: “Having experienced the struggles of being a student during a pandemic I wanted to lend a helping hand to those going through the same challenges, a year on.”
